How to Fight for the Paris Climate Agreement

Worried about Climate Change? We are too. With Earth Day approaching it seems like a good time to let your voice be heard on this subject. Trump and his team will be deciding in May whether or not to pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement. The the aim of which is:

  • to hold the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2 °C above pre-industrial levels and to pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5 °C above pre-industrial levels
  • increase the ability to adapt to the adverse impacts of climate change and foster climate resilience and low greenhouse gas emissions development, in a manner that does not threaten food production
  • make finance flows consistent with a pathway towards low greenhouse gas emissions and climate-resilient development

In addition to governments, 80 companies signed on to the agreement. You can use the attached resources to reach out to those companies and let them know how you feel about the PCA. Thanks to one of our most active users, you will find an Excel Spreadsheet with emails for contacts at each of the 80 companies, along with a text document that includes some important information.

Please use these resources to let companies know you’d like them to display public leadership on this issue, and help make it clear to the President that a volatile climate is bad for business.
